The Measure A and Measure W plans provide funding for various mobility programs in San Mateo County, managed by the San Mateo County Transportation Authority (SMCTA). While some programs receive direct funding allocations, others, including Highway, Pedestrian & Bicycle, Grade Separation, Shuttle, Transportation Demand Management, and Regional Transit Connections, require a competitive "Call for Projects" process. This process follows evaluation criteria outlined in the Transportation Authority’s Strategic Plan or relevant planning documents to select projects for funding.
