The Local Streets and Transportation program is designed to provide directly allocated funds to local cities and San Mateo County for various transportation-related needs. These funds can be utilized for a broad range of projects, including street repaving, pothole and sidewalk repairs, bicycle and pedestrian improvements, shuttle or vanpool services, traffic operations enhancements, and other initiatives aimed at improving transportation safety and alleviating congestion.
