The Highway Program aims to reduce congestion and improve safety on San Mateo County’s highways by addressing major commute bottlenecks and supporting additional roadway improvements. Funded by both Measure A and Measure W, the program supports a variety of infrastructure upgrades, including interchanges, ramps, and managed lanes. Measure W also provides exclusive funding for dedicated pedestrian and bicycle overcrossings.
