At Scaled Composites, we specialize in creating molds for a diverse range of parts using various materials, ensuring cost-effectiveness and suitability for each project. Our primary facility includes a 5-axis numerically controlled (NC) gantry router with a substantial working envelope of 50' X 20' X 8', capable of machining materials with densities up to 50 lbs/cu-ft. This NC capability is crucial for most of our projects, although we also offer milling services for stand-alone projects. Our portfolio includes manufacturing parts for homebuilt aircraft, sailplane tooling, propellers, prototype automobiles, solar cars, various models, boat components, and even cannon molds.
